How long has Niki been in the kitchen? I’ve been cooking since I was 8 years old. My mom was never a good cook and I was the oldest so I made it my responsibility to make sure my brothers and I ate good food.
What is your favorite food to cook? That’s a difficult question for me. I honestly don’t have a favorite food to cook. I do, however hate pastries. Anything that falls under the dessert category I hate it!
What is your favorite food to eat? It’s a tie between Mexican food and Chinese food believe it or not. Only people who truly know me know the reason behind this. 
What’s the customer favorite so far? So far I don’t think my customers actually have a favorite right now. Everyone is into trying everything. So far I haven’t heard any bad feedback and my customers still return daily.
Of all your past jobs and hobbies over time, is this your favorite and why? Yes, this is my favorite simply because this is my true passion. I love feeding people great food. I Always have for as long as I can remember.
Were the others just a means to this end result of owning a restaurant and sticking to the chef hat? When I was in school and they asked what I wanted to be when I grow up the answer has always been to own my own restaurant. No matter what job or hobby I have ever shown interest in, I’ve never lost sight of what I really wanted to do.
How does it feel to be able to employ your family with your dream? I actually don’t employ any family members right now. A couple of friends, however being family couldn’t make us any closer.
